Description
An Original Composition for Wind Band, generally within the difficulty of 4-4.5 .
The piece is divided into three segment which are to be performed one after another. The first segment is "Happiness before the Demise" which has a slight happy vibes. Next up is "Dance of Sadness" which is a fast segment with feeling of sadness. Which is followed by the last segment which have an even faster tempo but with heroic feelings.
The piece is written due to my own sufferings and I wrote it into a wind band piece to also bring a message to everyone. The first segment is depicting our lives before we met any unhappy or miserable event, having a slow tempo to emphasis on the relax state of our initial life. The second segment is to depict the present which is our troubles and sufferings. It comes in gradually and grows to become worst, but we must stand up strong against it and perservere. Hence the third segment, which depict the future where we take the suffering as a experience and Rise up once more.
I hope everyone who plays this piece can understand the meaning behind the reasons I compose this piece and at the same time enjoy making music, cherish all happiness we have and gain as much experience as possible.
Piece includes parts where instruments such as Bassoon and Soprano Saxophone plays a small solo, which are cued into other instruments in case that the instrument is absent from the band.
